How do I deposit funds?
Log in with your username and password and click on the 'My Account' link. Click on the 'Deposit' option and then fill in the fields displayed. Enter your required deposit and confirm your password.

Are there any charges for depositing funds?
Betfred.com will not charge you for depositing funds with your debit or credit card, but please be aware that some credit card issuers may charge you a fee for using the card for gaming purposes. Betfred allow one free deposit per day made using myCitadel, NETeller and Moneybookers. All additional transactions less than £170/€300/$300 may be subject to a 2.9% charge, and this charge applied at Betfred.com's discretion.

Is it safe to enter my card details online?
Yes, this website uses a high quality encryption system. For security reasons always ensure that you log out of your account once you have finished your session.

Will anything show on my bank statement?
When you make a deposit or withdrawal with Man Utd Bet your transactions will show on your bank statement. These transactions will either show as Betfred or Done Bros.

Debit Card

Maestro, Solo, Visa Delta, Visa Electron or Laser

The quickest way of depositing funds is a secure online payment by UK debit card or IRE Laser card. There are no surcharges or transaction costs whatsoever in opening and running an account.

• Debit cardholder's name MUST be the same as the name that you used to register with the site.
• Electron and Solo cards are subject to age-verification checks.
• The billing address given must match that of your debit card statement.
• You will be required to enter your CVC/CVN number when you make your first online deposit from your card, this number is the last three digits of the number printed on the signature strip on the reverse of your registered credit/debit card. Any deposits requested via the Call Centre will require your CVC/CVN number which must be given to the Call Centre Operator making the deposit for you.

Please be aware that Betfred are now taking part in the Secure Code program.

SecureCode is an added layer of security to safeguard your deposits against fraudsters.  If your card issuer is enrolled in the program, you will be automatically prompted to type in your SecureCode password each time you register your card or make a deposit.

If you have never used this feature (but your issuer is enrolled), you will need to register and create a password with the issuer.  Each time you make a subsequent deposit by card you will be directed to a page hosted by the issuer where you will be asked to enter this password in order to proceed with authorisation.

If the correct password is entered, the transaction will be sent for processing.  If the incorrect password is entered the transaction will be declined by the issuer.
Please be aware that should the incorrect password be entered several times, your card may become blocked by the issuer.  If this occurs please contact the bank to unlock the card.

NETeller

NETeller can be used at Manchester United Betting by all customers except those residing in USA, Canada, Israel, Turkey, Hong Kong and Macau. NETeller (1-Pay) is specifically for customers located in China. NETeller Currencies
You can make a deposit using NETeller in US Dollars, Euros and GBP.
If you wish to use NETeller you will have to register an account within Manchester United's Betting site in one of the currencies outlined above.

If you bank in a currency other than US Dollars, Euros and Sterling, NETeller do offer a conversion facility, however you will still have to register a Manchester United Betting account in one of the currencies outlined above.

How to register your PayPal Account with Betfred.com

If you already have a Betfred.com Account, deposits could not be simpler:

1. Log into your Betfred account and click on the ‘My Account’ tab
2. Click on ‘Manage Deposit & Withdraw Methods’
3. Click on the "PayPal" link.
4. Enter the amount you wish to deposit, your Betfred.com password and click ‘Deposit Now’
5. You will be transferred to the PayPal website to log in and confirm your deposit or create a new PayPal account if you are new to PayPal
6. Once you have completed PayPal security you will be returned to Betfred.com, your balance will be updated and PayPal will also send you email confirmation of your deposit.

To make subsequent deposits using PayPal just log into your Betfred.com account, click on the ‘My Account’ and then the ‘Deposit Funds’ tab and follow the same secure depositing process.

Conditions for Depositing Funds
We will pay charges for all deposits over £170/$300* providing that your funds stay in your account for 28 days and are played through at least once. If you are depositing between £85* and a £170* you will be subject to a £7.50* administrative charge that will be deducted from your deposit.

If you withdraw your initial deposit within this 28 day period, you will be charged £12/$22* per standard transfer or £15/$27* per urgent transfer.

BTS allows Manchester United Betting customers to fund their accounts using a domestic funds transfer from their local bank account to our BTS account in that particular country.

BTS takes between one and five working days for funds to clear. Manchester United Betting balance will only be credited once these funds have been cleared. You are able to make deposits to your telephone or Internet account via Betfred shops.

Deposits

In order to deposit funds in a shop, you must provide the shop manager with the following information:

• Surname
• Postcode
• Amount you would like to deposit into your Betfred.com account (minimum deposit £10).

The shop manager will then contact Betfred.com Customer Service with the request who will, for security reasons, call the shop back with confirmation of the deposit.
