Two player tournaments, referred to as ‘Heads-up’ games offer a refreshing alternative to standard games on a full table as a successful strategy for a heads-up game can differ significantly.
The games can be found in the ‘Sit‘n’Go’ section of the lobby, with buy-ins ranging from an affordable $1 up to $200 for the more adventurous players.
Game Play
As with other standard tournaments, both players start with the same number of chips and play on until one player wins all of the chips.
The blinds work slightly differently in heads-up games, with the player on the dealer button posting the small blind, and the other player posting the big blind (even though he/she is actually first left of the dealer). The player on the button therefore acts first for the first round of betting, with the other player acting first on every further betting round of the hand.
